لا ينبغي لقوم فيهم ابوبكر أن يومهم غيره

It is not befitting for a group in which Abu Bakr is present that anyone other than him should lead them in prayer.

لو وزن ايمان أبى بكر بايمان أهل الأرض لرجع

If the faith of Abu Bakr were weighed against the faith of all the people of the earth, his faith would outweigh theirs.

ما صب الله فى صدري شيئا الا صبه فى صدر أبى بكر

Allah did not pour anything into my heart except that He also poured it into the heart of Abu Bakr.

قول عمر كان النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم یتكلم مع أبى بكر وكنت بينهما كالز نجي

Umar said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to converse with Abu Bakr, and I was between them like a foreigner."

ان الله يكره فى السماء ان يخطأ أبو بكر الصديق

Allah dislikes in the heavens that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq should make a mistake.

لو لم أبعث فيكم لبعث عمر

Had I not been sent among you, Umar would have been sent.

لما أسري بي رأيت فى السماء خيلا موقوفة... فقلت لجبريل لمن هذه فقال هذه لمحبي ابي بكر و عمر

اول من يعطي كتابه بيمينه من هذه الأمة عمر بن الخطاب...

The first of this ummah to be given his record in his right hand will be Umar ibn al-Khattab.

يا أبا الحسن أحبهما فبحبهما تدخل الجنة

O Abu al-Hasan (i.e., Ali)! Love these two (Abu Bakr and Umar), for through your love of them you will enter Paradise.

ان فى السماء الدنيا ثمانين ألف ملك يستغفرون الله لمن أحب أبابكر و عمر

In the lowest heaven there are eighty thousand angels who seek forgiveness for whoever loves Abu Bakr and Umar.

من شتم عمر فمأ واه سقر

Whoever insults Umar, his abode is Saqar (Hellfire).

من سب أبا بكر و عمر قتل ولا يستتاب

Whoever curses Abu Bakr and Umar shall be killed, and no repentance shall be sought from him.

لمن أنت قالت للمقتول شهيدا عثمان بن عفان

(On the Night of Isra', the Prophet asked a hur:) "For whom are you?" She said: "For the one who will be killed as a martyr, Uthman ibn Affan."

انه كان يبغض عثمان فأبغضه الله

(The Prophet did not lead the funeral prayer of a man, and when the Companions asked why, he explained:) This person used to hate Uthman, so Allah hates him.

ان عثمان ليتحول من منزل الي منزل فتبرق له الجنة

Whenever Uthman moves from one dwelling to another, Paradise shines for him.

أن النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم نهض الي عثمان فاعتنقه ثم قال أنت ولي فى الدنيا والأخرة

The Prophet (peace be upon him) rose to embrace Uthman and then said: "You are my close friend in this world and the Hereafter."

لكل نبي خليل فى امته وان خليلي عثمان بن عفان

Every Prophet has a khalil (intimate friend) among his ummah, and my khalil is Uthman ibn Affan.
