حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ رَوْحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا، فَمَا تَرَكَتِ الْفَرَائِضُ فَلأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ ".
English Translation
Umayyah ibn Bistam narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, from Rawh, from 'Abd Allah ibn Tawus, from his father, from Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Give the prescribed shares (of inheritance) to those entitled to them, and whatever the prescribed shares leave behind is for the closest male relative."
Urdu Translation
ہم سے امیہ بن بسطام نے بیان کیا، ہم سے یزید بن زریع نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے روح سے، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن طاوس سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت کیا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "فرائض (میراث کے حصے) ان کے اہل کو دو، پھر جو فرائض سے بچ رہے وہ سب سے قریبی مرد رشتہ دار کا ہے۔"
