أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُلَاعِبِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَلْحِقُوا الْمَالَ بِالْفَرَائِضِ فَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Allocate the shares to those who are entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the nearest male relative."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «فرائض والوں کو ان کے حصے دو اور جو بچ جائے وہ سب سے قریبی مرد وارث کا ہے۔»
