حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " ثَلاَثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ حَلاَوَةَ الإِيمَانِ أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا، وَأَنْ يُحِبَّ الْمَرْءَ لاَ يُحِبُّهُ إِلاَّ لِلَّهِ، وَأَنْ يَكْرَهَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي الْكُفْرِ كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُقْذَفَ فِي النَّارِ ".
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: There are three qualities, whoever possesses them will taste the sweetness of faith: that Allah the Exalted and His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) be more beloved to him than all else, that he loves a person for no reason other than for the sake of Allah, and that he detests returning to disbelief just as he detests being cast into the fire.
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: تین خصلتیں ایسی ہیں کہ جس شخص میں یہ پائی جائیں اس نے ایمان کی حلاوت (مٹھاس) پا لی: ایک یہ کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے رسول صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اسے ہر ایک سے زیادہ محبوب ہوں، دوسرے یہ کہ وہ کسی شخص سے محض اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے محبت رکھے، تیسرے یہ کہ کفر میں واپس لوٹنا اسے اتنا ناگوار ہو جتنا آگ میں ڈالا جانا ناگوار ہے۔
