نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ" لا يَرَى مَا جَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ لامْرَأَتِهِ عِنْدَ الْجِلْوَةِ شَيْئًا".

Al-Hasan al-Basri said: "He did not consider what a man gives to his wife at the unveiling ceremony (jalwah) to have any legal standing."
