Narrated the Mother of the Believers Aishah the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would begin the prayer by saying "Allahu Akbar" and the recitation with "Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbil-alamin" (that is, he said Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim softly). When he bowed, he would keep his head neither raised nor lowered, but (level with his back) in between. When he raised his head from bowing, he would not prostrate until he stood up straight, and when he raised his head from prostration, he would not make the second prostration until he sat up straight. And after every two rak'ahs he would recite the Tashahhud (in the sitting), and he would spread out his left foot and keep his right foot upright, and he forbade the sitting of Satan, and he also forbade a person from spreading his forearms on the ground like a beast, and he would end the prayer with the salam.
اردو ترجمہ
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنماز کو اللہ اکبر کہہ کر شروع کرتے اور قرآت”الحمدللہ رب العالمین“کے ساتھ شروع کرتے (یعنی بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم آہستہ سے کہتے) اور جب رکوع کرتے تو سر کو نہ اونچا رکھتے نہ نیچا بلکہ (پیٹھ کے برابر رکھتے) بیچ میں۔ اور جب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تو سجدہ نہ کرتے یہاں تک کہ سیدھے کھڑے ہو جاتے اور جب سجدہ سے سر اٹھاتے تو دوسرا سجدہ نہ کرتے، یہاں تک کہ سیدھا بیٹھ جاتے اور ہر دو رکعت کے بعد (قعدے میں) التحیات پڑھتے اور بایاں پاؤں بچھا کر داہنا پاؤں کھڑا کرتے اور شیطان کی (طرح) بیٹھک سے منع کرتے تھے اور اس بات سے بھی منع کرتے تھے کہ آدمی اپنے دونوں ہاتھ زمین پر درندے کی طرح بچھائے اور نماز کو سلام پر ختم کرتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 273]
