انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood for prayer, he would raise both his hands up to his shoulders, then say "Allahu Akbar," and when he intended to bow, he would do likewise, and when he raised his head from bowing, he would do likewise. But when he raised his head from prostration, he would not do so; that is, he did not raise his hands between the two prostrations.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب نماز کے لئے کھڑے ہوتے تو اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اپنے دونوں کندھوں تک اٹھاتے پھر اللہ اکبر کہتے اور جب رکوع کا ارادہ فرماتے تب بھی ایسا ہی کرتے اور جب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تب بھی ایسا ہی کرتے اور جب سجدہ سے سر اٹھاتے تو ایسا نہ کرتے، یعنی رفع یدین (دونوں) سجدوں کے درمیان میں نہ کرتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 272]
