Qays bin 'Abbad said: I asked Sayyiduna 'Ammar bin Yasir (and 'Ammar bin Yasir was on the side of Sayyiduna 'Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, at the Battle of Siffin), "The fighting you did (on the side of 'Ali, may Allah be pleased with him)—was it your own opinion, or did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) tell you something about it? For if it is opinion, opinion is sometimes right and sometimes wrong." Sayyiduna 'Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) told us nothing that he did not tell the general people." And Sayyiduna 'Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, in my nation (the narrator Shu'bah says: I think he said, 'Hudhayfah narrated to me,' while another narrator, Ghundar, says he did not say the words 'Hudhayfah narrated to me') there will be twelve hypocrites who will not enter Paradise nor smell its fragrance until a camel passes through the eye of a needle. Eight of them—a boil (abscess) will suffice for you against them (that is, it will be the cause of their death), namely a lamp of fire will appear in their shoulders and emerge, tearing through their chests." (That is, in this boil there will be an ember as if a lamp were placed there. May Allah keep the Muslims safe. Amin.)
اردو ترجمہ
قیس بن عباد کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے سیدنا عمار بن یاسر سے پوچھا (اور عمار بن یاسر جنگ صفین میں سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ کی طرف تھے) کہ تم نے جو لڑائی (سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ کی طرف سے) کی، یہ تمہاری رائے ہے یا تم سے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس بارے میں کچھ فرمایا تھا؟ اگر رائے ہے تو رائے تو درست بھی ہوتی ہے اور غلط بھی ہوتی ہے۔ تو سیدنا عمار رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ہم سے کوئی ایسی بات نہیں فرمائی جو عام لوگوں سے نہ فرمائی ہو، اور سیدنا عمار رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ بیشک رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ بیشک میری امت میں (راوی حدیث شعبہ کہتے ہیں کہ میرا خیال ہے انہوں نے یہ کہا تھا کہ مجھے سیدنا حذیفہ نے بیان کیا اور دوسرے راوی غندر کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے”حدثنی حذیفہ“کے الفاظ نہیں کہے) بارہ منافق ہوں گے جو نہ جنت میں جائیں اور نہ ہی اس کی خوشبو پا سکیں گے حتیٰ کہ اونٹ سوئی کے ناکے میں داخل ہو جائے۔ ان میں سے آٹھ کو تم سے ایک دبیلہ (پھوڑا) کافی ہو جائے گا (یعنی ان کی موت کا سبب بنے گا) یعنی ایک آگ کا چراغ ان کے کندھوں میں ظاہر ہو گا اور ان کے سینوں کو توڑتا ہوا نکل آئے گا۔ (یعنی اس پھوڑے میں ایک انگارہ ہو گا جیسے چراغ رکھ دیا ہو، اللہ تعالیٰ مسلمانوں کو محفوظ رکھے۔ آمین)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1940]
