Sayyiduna Jabir bin 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Who will ascend the pass of Murar, for his sins will be forgiven as the sins of the Children of Israel were forgiven?" Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The first to ascend that pass were our horses, that is, those of the tribe of Khazraj, then the people followed in succession. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Every one of you has been forgiven except the owner of the red camel." We went to that man and said, "Come, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) will supplicate forgiveness for you." He said, "By Allah! To find my lost animal is more dear to me than the supplication of your companion." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: That man was searching for his lost animal. (He was a hypocrite, which is why the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said his forgiveness had not come; and this is a miracle of his, peace be upon him, for the man turned out exactly as he, peace be upon him, had said.)
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: کون شخص مرار کی گھاٹی پر چڑھ جاتا ہے کہ اس کے گناہ ایسے معاف ہو جائیں جیسے بنی اسرائیل کے معاف ہو گئے تھے۔ سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ سب سے پہلے اس گھاٹی پر ہمارے گھوڑے چڑھے یعنی قبیلہ خزرج کے لوگوں کے، پھر لوگوں کا تار بندھ گیا۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تم میں سے ہر ایک کی بخشش ہو گئی مگر لال (سرخ) اونٹ والے کی نہیں۔ ہم اس شخص کے پاس گئے اور ہم نے کہا کہ چل رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمتیرے لئے مغفرت کی دعا کریں۔ وہ بولا کہ اللہ کی قسم! میں اپنی گمشدہ چیز پاؤں تو مجھے تمہارے صاحب کی دعا سے زیادہ پسند ہے۔ سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ وہ شخص اپنی گمشدہ چیز ڈھونڈھ رہا تھا (وہ منافق تھا جبھی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اس کی بخشش نہیں ہوئی اور یہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا معجزہ ہے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے جیسا فرمایا تھا وہ شخص ویسا ہی نکلا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1939]
