Narrated al-Nu'man ibn Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "The likeness of the believers in their mutual love, unity, and compassion is like a single body (that is, all the believers together are like one frame). When any limb of the body suffers pain, the whole body shares in that (suffering) with sleeplessness and fever (likewise, when a calamity befalls one believer, especially a calamity coming from the disbelievers, all the believers should feel restless and should remedy it)."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: مومنوں کی مثال ان کی دوستی اور اتحاد اور شفقت کے لحاظ سے ایک جسم کی طرح ہے (یعنی سب مومن مل کر ایک قالب کی طرح ہیں) جسم میں سے جب کوئی عضو درد کرتا ہے تو سارا جسم اس (تکلیف) میں شریک ہو جاتا ہے نیند نہیں آتی اور بخار آ جاتا ہے (اسی طرح ایک مومن پر آفت آئے خصوصاً وہ آفت جو کافروں کی طرف سے پہنچے تو سب مومنوں کو بے چین ہونا چاہئے اور اس کا علاج کرنا چاہئے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1774]
