حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ هَلَكَتِ الْمَوَاشِي وَتَقَطَّعَتِ السُّبُلُ. فَدَعَا، فَمُطِرْنَا مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ تَهَدَّمَتِ الْبُيُوتُ وَتَقَطَّعَتِ السُّبُلُ، وَهَلَكَتِ الْمَوَاشِي فَادْعُ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكْهَا. فَقَامَ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الآكَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ وَالأَوْدِيَةِ وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ ". فَانْجَابَتْ عَنِ الْمَدِينَةِ انْجِيَابَ الثَّوْبِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and submitted: 'The livestock are perishing and the roads are cut off.' So the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed, and it rained from that Friday to the next. Then a man came and submitted: 'Houses have collapsed, roads are cut off and the livestock are being destroyed; please pray to Allah to withhold the rain.' So he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stood and prayed: 'O Allah! Upon the hillocks, the elevated lands, the valleys and the places where trees grow.' The clouds then cleared from Madinah as a garment is removed.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی بارگاہ میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا: جانور ہلاک ہو رہے ہیں اور راستے بند ہو گئے ہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے دعا فرمائی تو ایک ہفتے تک بارش ہوتی رہی۔ پھر ایک شخص حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا: مکانات گر گئے، راستے بند ہو گئے اور جانور ہلاک ہو رہے ہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا فرمائیں کہ بارش روک دے۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کھڑے ہوئے اور دعا فرمائی: اے اللہ! ٹیلوں، پہاڑیوں، وادیوں اور درختوں کی جگہوں پر برسا۔ چنانچہ بادل مدینہ سے اس طرح چھٹ گئے جیسے کپڑا اتارا جاتا ہے۔
