Abū al-Ḥasan Muḥammad b. al-Ḥusayn b. Dāwud al-ʿAlawī ؒ Imlāʾ > Abū Ḥāmid b. al-Sharqī > Aḥmad b. Ḥafṣ from my father > Ibrāhīm b. Ṭahmān > Mūsá b. ʿUqbah > Ṣafwān b. Sulaym > ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār > Abū Hurayrah ؓ وَاحْتَجَّ أَصْحَابُنَا فِي ذَلِكَ أَيْضًا بِمَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْعَلَوِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ إِمْلَاءً أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ الشَّرْقِيِّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ الصَّغِيرُ عَلَى الْكَبِيرِ وَالْمَارُّ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِ وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ

Our companions cited as evidence for this what was narrated to us by Abu al-Hasan Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Dawud al-'Alawi (may Allah have mercy on him) by dictation, Abu Hamid ibn al-Sharqi narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Hafs narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Ibrahim ibn Tahman narrated to us from Musa ibn 'Uqbah, from Safwan ibn Sulaym, from 'Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do not wrong the people of the covenant, for whoever wrongs a person under covenant, I will be his adversary on the Day of Resurrection."
