حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ سَيَارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ لَمَّا فُتِحَتْ إِصْطَخْرُ نَادَى مُنَادٍ أَلَا إِنَّ الدَّجَّالَ قَدْ خَرَجَ قَالَ فَلَقِيَهُمْ الصَّعْبُ بْنُ جَثَّامَةَ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَوْلَا مَا تَقُولُونَ لَأَخْبَرْتُكُمْ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَخْرُجُ الدَّجَّالُ حَتَّى يَذْهَلَ النَّاسُ عَنْ ذِكْرِهِ وَحَتَّى تَتْرُكَ الْأَئِمَّةُ ذِكْرَهُ عَلَى الْمَنَابِرِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abdullah narrated to us: Abu Humayd al-Himsi Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Mughirah ibn Sayyar narrated to me, he said: Haywah narrated to us, he said: Baqiyyah narrated to us, from Safwan ibn 'Amr, from Rashid ibn Sa'd, who said: When Istakhr was conquered, a caller cried out: "Beware, the Dajjal (Antichrist) has appeared!" He said: al-Sa'b ibn Jaththamah met them and said: "Were it not for what you are saying, I would tell you that I heard the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, say: The Dajjal will not appear until people forget about him and until the leaders (imams) stop mentioning him on the pulpits."
