Affan narrated to us: Yazid — that is, Ibn Zurai' — narrated to us: Humayd narrated to us, he said: Bakr narrated to me, that he was informed that Abu Sa'id al-Khudri saw a vision in which he was writing the letter Sad, and when he reached its verse of prostration, he saw the inkwell and the pen and everything before him turn over in prostration. He related it to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and thereafter he never ceased to prostrate at it.
