English Translation
An Arab bedouin met Abdullah ibn Mas'ud while we were with him and said: 'Peace be upon you, O Abu Abd al-Rahman.' He laughed and said: 'Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "The Hour will not come until greetings are given only to acquaintances, until mosques are used as thoroughfares without anyone prostrating to Allah in them, until a young boy is sent as a messenger by an elder between two horizons, and until a merchant travels between two horizons without finding any profit."'
