Arabic (Original)
نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، فِيرَجُلٍ تُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ فِي بَيْتٍ بِأُجْرَةٍ، فَقَالَ:" أَحْسَنُ أَنْ تَعْتَدَّ فِي الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي كَانَ فِيهِ وَتُعْطِيَ الأَجْرَ".
English Translation
Ibrahim al-Nakha'i said: "It is best that the widow observe her waiting period in the rented house where her husband was living, and she should pay the rent."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابراہیم نخعی رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا:”بیوہ کو کرایہ کے مکان میں عدت گزارنی چاہیے اور کرایہ ادا کرنا ہو گا۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 3352]
