Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَسْلُكْ طَرِيقًا فَيَتْبَعُهُ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا عرفَ أَنه قد سلكه من طيب عرقه-أَوْ قَالَ: مِنْ رِيحِ عَرَقِهِ-رَوَاهُ الدَّارِمِيُّ
English Translation
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) never walked along a path and someone followed him except that they could recognize that he had walked there from the fragrance of his sweat — or he said: from the scent of his sweat. Narrated by al-Darimi.
Urdu Translation
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جس راہ سے گزر جاتے تو آپ کے بعد اس راہ سے گزرنے والا آپ کی خوشبو سے یا آپ کے معطر پسینے سے پہچان لیتا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم یہاں سے گزرے ہیں۔ اسنادہ ضعیف، رواہ الدارمی۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الفضائل والشمائل/حدیث: 5792]
