Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ كَعْبٌ:"مَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَةَ آيَةٍ، كُتِبَ مِنْ الْقَانِتِينَ".
English Translation
Mujahid said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla said: A man used to recite in a manner different from another man, and one group would recite differently from another. They were brought before the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he said: "All of you have recited correctly, so do not differ. Those before you differed and were destroyed."

سیدنا کعب الاحبار رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: جس نے سو آیات پڑھ لیں وہ قانتین (اطاعت گزاروں) میں لکھ لیا گیا۔[سنن دارمي/من كتاب فضائل القرآن /حدیث: 3483]
