English Translation
Abdullah ibn Zayd's hadith about Istisqa' has been mentioned earlier. In this narration, it mentions that the Prophet (peace be upon him) turned his back to the people, faced the qiblah, and began supplicating. Then he reversed his cloak. Then he prayed two rak'ahs with the people, reciting aloud.
Urdu Translation
عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ کی حدیثاستسقاء کے بارے میں پہلے گزر چکی ہے۔ (دیکھئیے باب: استسقاء کا بیان) اور اس روایت میں ہے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اپنی پیٹھ لوگوں کی طرف پھیر لی اور قبلے کی طرف منہ کر لیا اور دعا مانگنے لگے، اس کے بعد اپنی چادر الٹ لی پھر ہم لوگوں کے ساتھ دو رکعت نماز پڑھی، ان میں بلند آواز سے قرآت کی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 554]
