English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) did not raise his hands in any supplication as high as he raised them in the supplication for rain (Istisqa'). He raised them so high that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماپنے دونوں ہاتھ (اس قدر بلند) کسی دعا میں نہ اٹھاتے تھے جتنے دعائے استسقاء میں اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم(استسقاء میں ہاتھ اس قدر بلند) اٹھاتے تھے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی دونوں بغلوں کی سفیدی دکھائی دیتی تھی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 555]
