حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَعْظَمُ النَّاسِ أَجْرًا فِي الصَّلاَةِ أَبْعَدُهُمْ فَأَبْعَدُهُمْ مَمْشًى، وَالَّذِي يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَهَا مَعَ الإِمَامِ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا مِنَ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي ثُمَّ يَنَامُ ".
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Musa (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'The person who earns the greatest reward for the prayer is the one who comes from the farthest distance on foot. And the one who waits for the prayer until he prays it with the Imam has a greater reward than the one who prays (alone) and then goes to sleep.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: نماز میں اجر کے لحاظ سے سب سے بڑھ کر وہ شخص ہے جو (مسجد تک) زیادہ سے زیادہ دور سے پیدل آئے۔ اور جو شخص نماز کا انتظار کرتا ہے یہاں تک کہ امام کے ساتھ پڑھتا ہے، اس کا اجر اس شخص سے زیادہ ہے جو (تنہا) نماز پڑھ کر سو جائے۔
