Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ هِنْدٍ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم اسْتَيْقَظَ لَيْلَةً فَقَالَ " سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مَاذَا أُنْزِلَ اللَّيْلَةَ مِنَ الْفِتْنَةِ، مَاذَا أُنْزِلَ مِنَ الْخَزَائِنِ مَنْ يُوقِظُ صَوَاحِبَ الْحُجُرَاتِ، يَا رُبَّ كَاسِيَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَارِيَةٍ فِي الآخِرَةِ ".
English Translation
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Umm Salama (may Allah be well pleased with her) who said: One night the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) woke up and declared: 'Glory be to Allah! How many tribulations have been sent down tonight and how many treasures (of mercy) have been revealed! Who will go and awaken the dwellers of these chambers (the blessed wives, may Allah be well pleased with them)! Many a woman dressed in this world will be unclothed in the Hereafter.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک رات بیدار ہوئے تو ارشاد فرمایا: سبحان اللہ! آج رات کتنے فتنے نازل ہوئے ہیں اور کتنے (رحمت کے) خزانے اترے ہیں! ان حجروں والیوں (ازواج مطہرات رضوان اللہ علیہن) کو کوئی جگانے والا ہے! بہت سی دنیا میں لباس پہننے والی عورتیں آخرت میں بے لباس ہوں گی۔
