وَأَخْبَرَنَا الشَّرِيفُ أَبُو الْفَتْحِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ أنبأ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْبَغَوِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَشْتَرُوا الصَّدَقَاتِ حَتَّى تُوسَمَ وَتُعْقَلَ
English Translation
And al-Sharif Abu al-Fath al-Faqih informed us... from Makhul that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not buy the charity animals until they are branded and hobbled.'
