أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ وَأَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ قَالَا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ ؓ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ أَيْ رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ بَنِي جَعْفَرٍ تُصِيبُهُمُ الْعَيْنُ أَفَأَسْتَرْقِي لَهُمْ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ شَيْءٌ يَسْبِقُ الْقَدَرَ لَسَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ 19588 وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْعَلَوِيُّ إِمْلَاءً أنبأ أَبُو نَصْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمْدَوَيْهِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ آدَمَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ الزُّرَقِيِّ أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ عُمَيْسٍ ؓ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْقَضَاءَ بَدَلَ الْقَدَرِ
English Translation
Abu Ali al-Rudhbari and Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran informed us, they said: Isma'il ibn Muhammad al-Saffar informed us, Ahmad ibn Mansur al-Ramadi narrated to us, Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us from Ayyub, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Urwah ibn Amir, from Ubayd ibn Rifa'ah, from Asma' bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her) who said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the sons of Ja'far are afflicted by the evil eye. Should I perform ruqyah for them?' He said: 'Yes. If anything could precede divine decree, it would be the evil eye.'" And al-Sayyid Abu al-Hasan Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Alawi narrated to us by dictation, Abu Nasr Muhammad ibn Hamdawayh ibn Sahl al-Marwazi informed us, Mahmud ibn Adam al-Marwazi narrated to us, Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us from Amr ibn Dinar, from Urwah ibn Amir, from Ubayd ibn Rifa'ah al-Zuraqi, from Asma' bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her) who said: "O Messenger of Allah..." and he mentioned it similarly, except that he said "divine judgment" instead of "divine decree."
