English Translation
Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Shuja' ibn Makhlad Abu al-Fadl narrated to me: Abbad ibn al-Awwam narrated to us from al-Hajjaj, from Simak - that is, Ibn Harb - from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: There was a slenderness in the shins of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he never laughed except with a smile, and when I saw him I would say, "He has kohl-lined eyes," though no kohl had been applied.
