English Translation
Khalaf ibn al-Walid told us, al-Mubarak told us, from al-Hasan, who said: Imran ibn Husayn informed me that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw on the upper arm of a man a ring - I think he said made of brass - and said: "Woe to you, what is this?" He said: "It is a charm against al-wahinah." He said: "It will only increase you in weakness. Cast it away from you, for if you were to die while it is on you, you would never succeed."
