حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَهِشَامٍ وَحَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَحُمَيْدٍ وَيُونُسَ وَقَتَادَةَ وَسِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ مَمْلُوكِينَ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرَهُمْ فَأَقْرَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَرَدَّ أَرْبَعَةً فِي الرِّقِّ وَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Ata' al-Khurasani, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - and Ayyub, Hisham, and Habib, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Imran ibn Husayn, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - and Humayd, Yunus, Qatadah, and Simak ibn Harb, from al-Hasan, from Imran ibn Husayn, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: that a man freed six of his slaves at the time of his death, having no property other than them, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, drew lots among them, and returned four to slavery and freed two.
