حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ جَرِيرًا بَالَ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَصَلَّى فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَذَكَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abi Adi told us, from Shu'bah, from Sulayman, from Ibrahim, from Hammam ibn al-Harith: that Jarir urinated standing, then performed ablution and wiped over his two leather socks, and prayed. I asked him about that, and he mentioned from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he did the same.
