حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الذِّمَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ { يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ }
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates: I saw the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) reciting the verse 'yahsabu anna malahu akhladahu' — meaning 'he thinks that his wealth will make him immortal' (Surah al-Humazah: 3).
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو «يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ» یعنی وہ سمجھتا ہے کہ اس کا مال اسے ہمیشہ رہنے دے گا (سورۃ الہمزۃ: ۳) تلاوت فرماتے دیکھا۔
