حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَعَى لِلنَّاسِ النَّجَاشِيَّ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ وَخَرَجَ بِهِمْ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى فَصَفَّ بِهِمْ وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ .
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) announced the death of the Negus (the King of Abyssinia) to the people on the very day he passed away. He took them out to the prayer ground, formed rows, and said four takbirs (offering the funeral prayer).
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے نجاشی (شاہِ حبشہ) کا وصال جس دن ہوا اسی دن لوگوں کو ان کی خبرِ وفات دی، آپ ان کو لے کر عیدگاہ تشریف لے گئے، صفیں بنوائیں اور چار تکبیروں کے ساتھ نمازِ جنازہ پڑھائی۔
