Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْمُرُ إِحْدَانَا إِذَا كَانَتْ حَائِضًا أَنْ تَتَّزِرَ ثُمَّ يُضَاجِعُهَا زَوْجُهَا وَقَالَ مَرَّةً يُبَاشِرُهَا .
English Translation
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha Siddiqah (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrates: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would instruct any of us, when she was menstruating, to tie a waist-wrapper. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would then lie with her — the narrator once used the word 'mubasharah' (embrace/contact) instead of 'lie with her.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہم میں سے کسی کو جب وہ حائضہ ہوتی تو تہبند باندھنے کا حکم فرماتے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اس سے لیٹ کر مباشرت فرماتے — ایک بار راوی نے «يضاجعها» (ساتھ لیٹنا) کے بجائے «يباشرها» (مباشرت) کے الفاظ نقل کیے ہیں۔
