Alqamah said: 'A woman and her husband came to Umar. She said: O Commander of the Faithful, my husband divorced me, and the bleeding stopped after three menstrual periods. Then he came to me after I had placed my washing water, closed my door, and removed my clothes. He said: I have taken you back, I have taken you back. Umar asked Ibn Mas'ud: What do you think about her? He said: "I consider her to be his wife as long as the prayer has not yet become permissible for her (i.e., she has not yet completed ghusl)." Umar said: "I hold the same view."'
