Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship of this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship from among the hardships of the Hereafter. And whoever grants respite to one in difficulty (that is, does not press him for his debt), Allah will grant him ease in this world and the Hereafter. And whoever conceals the fault of a Muslim in this world, Allah will conceal his fault in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah remains in the help of His servant as long as the servant is in the help of his brother. And whoever travels a path seeking knowledge (that is, religious knowledge purely for the sake of Allah), Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. And when people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, tranquility descends upon them, mercy covers them, the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them among those who are with Him (that is, the angels). And whoever is slowed by his deeds, his lineage will not hasten him forward (it will be of no avail)."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جو شخص کسی مومن پر سے کوئی دنیا کی سختی دور کرے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر سے آخرت کی سختیوں میں سے ایک سختی دور کرے گا۔ اور جو شخص مفلس کو مہلت دے (یعنی اس پر اپنے قرض کا تقاضا اور سختی نہ کرے) تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر دنیا میں اور آخرت میں آسانی کرے گا اور جو شخص دنیا میں کسی مسلمان کا عیب ڈھانپے گا تو اللہ تعالیٰ دنیا میں اور آخرت میں اس کا عیب ڈھان کے گا اور اللہ تعالیٰ اس وقت تک اپنے بندے کی مدد میں رہے گا جب تک بندہ اپنے بھائی کی مدد میں رہے گا اور جو شخص حصول علم کے لئے کسی راستے پر چلے (یعنی علم دین خالص اللہ کے لئے) تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے لئے جنت کا راستہ سہل کر دے گا اور جو لوگ اللہ کے کسی گھر میں اللہ کی کتاب پڑھنے اور پڑھانے کے لئے جمع ہوں تو ان پر اللہ تعالیٰ کی سکینت اترتی ہے۔ اور رحمت ان کو ڈھانپ لیتی ہے۔ اور فرشتے ان کو گھیر لیتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ ان لوگوں کا ذکر اپنے پاس رہنے والوں (یعنی فرشتوں) میں کرتا ہے اور جس کا نیک عمل سست ہو تو اس کا خاندان (نسب) اس کو آگے نہیں بڑھائے گا۔ (کچھ کام نہ آئے گا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1888]
