حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَىُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ " أَنْ تَصَدَّقَ وَأَنْتَ صَحِيحٌ حَرِيصٌ. تَأْمُلُ الْغِنَى، وَتَخْشَى الْفَقْرَ، وَلاَ تُمْهِلْ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْحُلْقُومَ قُلْتَ لِفُلاَنٍ كَذَا وَلِفُلاَنٍ كَذَا، وَقَدْ كَانَ لِفُلاَنٍ ".
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad bin al-Ala' narrated to us, Abu Hadrat Usama narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Umara, from Abu Zur'a, from Hadrat Abu Hurayra (may Allah be well pleased with him), he stated: A man submitted to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), which charity is the most excellent? He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: That you give charity while you are healthy and covetous, hoping for wealth and fearing poverty. And do not delay until the soul reaches the throat, and then you say: Give such-and-such to so-and-so, and give such-and-such to so-and-so, while it has already become the property of so-and-so (i.e., the heirs).
الترجمة الأردية
ہم سے محمد بن العلاء نے بیان کیا، ہم سے ابو اسامہ نے بیان کیا، سفیان سے، عمارہ سے، ابو زرعہ سے، حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے، انہوں نے فرمایا: ایک شخص نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کون سا صدقہ سب سے افضل ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: یہ کہ تم صدقہ کرو جب تم تندرست اور مال کے حریص ہو، دولت کی امید رکھتے ہو اور فقر سے ڈرتے ہو۔ اور مہلت نہ دو یہاں تک کہ جب جان حلق تک پہنچ جائے تو کہو فلاں کو اتنا دو اور فلاں کو اتنا دو، حالانکہ وہ فلاں کا ہو چکا ہوتا ہے (یعنی وارثوں کا)۔
