حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ إِيَاسٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ أَهْدَتْ أُمُّ حُفَيْدٍ خَالَةُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَقِطًا وَسَمْنًا وَأَضُبًّا، فَأَكَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الأَقِطِ وَالسَّمْنِ، وَتَرَكَ الضَّبَّ تَقَذُّرًا. قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَأُكِلَ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا مَا أُكِلَ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated to us by Adam, narrated to us by Shu'bah, narrated to us by Ja'far bin Iyas, he said I heard Sa'id bin Jubair (upon him be mercy), from Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who stated, 'Umm Hufaid, the maternal aunt of Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), sent dried curd, ghee, and mastigure lizards as a gift to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ate the dried curd and the ghee, but left the lizard out of natural dislike.' Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) stated, 'It was eaten on the dining spread of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). Had it been unlawful, it would not have been eaten on the dining spread of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).'
الترجمة الأردية
ہم سے آدم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جعفر بن ایاس نے بیان کیا، فرمایا کہ میں نے سعید بن جبیر رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ سے سنا، حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے، فرمایا کہ ام حفید جو حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما کی خالہ تھیں، نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں پنیر، گھی اور سانڈے ہدیہ بھیجے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے پنیر اور گھی تناول فرمایا اور سانڈا طبعی ناپسندیدگی کی وجہ سے چھوڑ دیا۔ حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے دسترخوان پر کھایا گیا، اگر وہ حرام ہوتا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے دسترخوان پر نہ کھایا جاتا۔
