حَدَّثَنَا الصَّلْتُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَلَقَّوُا الرُّكْبَانَ وَلاَ يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ ". قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لاِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَا قَوْلُهُ لاَ يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ قَالَ لاَ يَكُونُ لَهُ سِمْسَارًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: Do not go out to meet the trading caravans (before they reach the market), and let no city-dweller sell on behalf of a desert-dweller. The narrator (Tawus) says: I asked Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both): What does 'a city-dweller should not sell for a desert-dweller' mean? He said: He should not become his broker.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: (تجارتی) قافلوں سے آگے بڑھ کر نہ ملو، اور نہ کوئی شہری، کسی دیہاتی کا مال بیچے۔ راوی (طاؤس) فرماتے ہیں: میں نے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے پوچھا: «شہری دیہاتی کا مال نہ بیچے» سے کیا مراد ہے؟ فرمایا: اس کا دلال نہ بنے۔
