وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ أنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الطَّرَائِفِيُّ نا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ نا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ إِنِ اجْتَمَعَ رَأْيُهُمَا عَلَى أَنْ يُفَرِّقَا أَوْ يَجْمَعَا فَأَمْرُهُمَا جَائِزٌ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Hasan Ali bin Ahmad bin Abdan informed us... from Said bin al-Musayyib and Abu Salamah bin Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), that a man from among the Bedouins came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, I implore you by Allah to judge me only by the Book of Allah. And he mentioned a similar hadith with minor differences.
