الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, he said: Muhammad -- that is, Ibn Ishaq -- narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, stood at al-Khayf in Mina and said: "May God make radiant a man who hears my words and retains them, then conveys them to one who has not heard them. For many a bearer of understanding conveys it to one more understanding than himself, and many a bearer of understanding has no understanding himself. Three things a believer's heart will not begrudge: sincerity of action for God's sake, sincere counsel to those in authority, and adherence to the community -- for their call surrounds those behind them."
