قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَضْلَلْتُ بَعِيرًا لِي بِعَرَفَةَ فَذَهَبْتُ أَطْلُبُهُ فَإِذَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاقِفٌ قُلْتُ إِنَّ هَذَا مِنْ الْحُمْسِ مَا شَأْنُهُ هَاهُنَا وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ ذَهَبْتُ أَطْلُبُ بَعِيرًا لِي بِعَرَفَةَ فَوَجَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاقِفًا قُلْتُ هَذَا مِنْ الْحُمْسِ مَا شَأْنُهُ هَاهُنَا.

He said: Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Amr, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, who said: I lost a camel of mine at 'Arafah, so I went to search for it, and there was the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, standing. I said: "This one is of the Hums (those who observed strict rites); what is he doing here?" -- And Sufyan said once: from 'Amr, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, who said: I went to search for a camel of mine at 'Arafah, and I found the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, standing. I said: "This one is of the Hums; what is he doing here?"
