حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ جَاءَتْ امْرَأَةُ سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِابْنَتَيْهَا مِنْ سَعْدٍ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَاتَانِ ابْنَتَا سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ قُتِلَ أَبُوهُمَا مَعَكَ فِي أُحُدٍ شَهِيدًا وَإِنَّ عَمَّهُمَا أَخَذَ مَالَهُمَا فَلَمْ يَدَعْ لَهُمَا مَالًا وَلَا يُنْكَحَانِ إِلَّا وَلَهُمَا مَالٌ قَالَ فَقَالَ يَقْضِي اللَّهُ فِي ذَلِكَ قَالَ فَنَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الْمِيرَاثِ فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى عَمِّهِمَا فَقَالَ أَعْطِ ابْنَتَيْ سَعْدٍ الثُّلُثَيْنِ وَأُمَّهُمَا الثُّمُنَ وَمَا بَقِيَ فَهُوَ لَكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Zakariyya ibn Adi told us, Ubaydullah informed us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir, who said: The wife of Sa'd ibn al-Rabi' came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, with her two daughters from Sa'd, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, these are the two daughters of Sa'd ibn al-Rabi'. Their father was killed with you at Uhud as a martyr, and their uncle has taken their wealth, leaving them nothing, and they cannot be married without wealth." He said: "Allah will decide concerning that." Then the verse of inheritance was revealed, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent word to their uncle, saying: "Give the two daughters of Sa'd two-thirds, and their mother one-eighth, and whatever remains is yours."
