Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8056 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الدَّحْدَاحِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْعَدَوِيُّ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَبُو عَامِرٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا خُلَيْدُ بْنُ دَعْلَجٍ ثنا أَبُو غَالِبٍ قَالَ جِيءَ برُءُوسِ الْخَوَارِجِ فَنُصِبَتْ عَلَى دَرَجِ دِمَشْقَ فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهَا وَخَرَجْتُ أَنَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا فَجَاءَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ وَعَلَيْهِ قَمِيصٌ سُنْبُلَانِيٌّ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ «مَا صَنَعَ الشَّيْطَانُ بِهَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ؟» يَقُولُهَا ثَلَاثًا «شَرُّ قَتْلَى تَحْتَ ظِلِّ السَّمَاءِ هَؤُلَاءِ خَيْرُ قَتْلَى تَحْتَ ظِلِّ السَّمَاءِ مَنْ قَتَلَهُ هَؤُلَاءِ كِلَابُ النَّارِ» يَقُولُهَا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ بَكَى ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَقَالَ أَبُو غَالِبٍ فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ سَمِعْتُكَ تَقُولُ قَوْلًا قَبْلُ أَفَأَنْتَ قُلْتَهُ؟ قَالَ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ إِنِّي إِذًا لَجَرِيءٌ بَلْ سَمِعْتُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِرَارًا» قُلْتُ لَهُ رَأَيْتُكَ تَبْكِي فَقَالَ «رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ كَانُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ مَرَّةً» ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي «أَمَا تَقْرَأُ؟» قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ «فَاقْرَأْ مِنْ آلِ عِمْرَانَ» فَقَرَأْتُ فَقَالَ أَمَا تَسْمَعُ اللهَ يَقُولُ {فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ} كَانَ فِي قُلُوبِ هَؤُلَاءِ زَيْغٌ فَزِيغَ بِهِمْ اقْرَأْ عِنْدَ رَأْسِ الْمِئَةِ فَقَرَأْتُ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغْتُ {يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ} فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا أُمَامَةَ إِنَّهُمْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَهُمْ هَؤُلَاءِ «لَمْ يَرْوِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ خُلَيْدِ بْنِ دَعْلَجٍ إِلَّا الْوَلِيدُ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Ghalib said: The heads of the Kharijites were brought and displayed on the steps of Damascus. People were looking at them, and I went out to look at them. Abu Umamah came on a donkey wearing a Sunbulani shirt. He looked at them and said: "See what the devil has done with this Ummah" - three times - "the worst of those killed under the shadow of the sky are these; the best of those killed under the shadow of the sky are those whom they killed; dogs of the Fire" - three times. Then he wept and turned away. Abu Ghalib said: I followed him and said: "I heard you say something before - did you say it yourself?" He said: "Glory be to Allah, I would indeed be bold. Rather I heard that from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) many times." I said to him: "I saw you weeping." He said: "Out of mercy for them; they were once from the people of Islam." Then he said to me: "Do you recite?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Recite from Al 'Imran." I recited, and he said: "Do you not hear Allah say: {As for those in whose hearts is deviation, they follow what is ambiguous thereof} - there was deviation in the hearts of these people, so they were led astray. Recite at the head of the hundred." So I recited until I reached: {On the Day when some faces will turn white and some faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black - Did you disbelieve after your belief?} I said: "O Abu Umamah, are they these people?" He said: "Yes, they are."
