The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever takes on a debt intending to repay it, Allah will repay it on his behalf on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever takes on a debt without intending to repay it, and then dies, Allah the Mighty and Majestic will say on the Day of Resurrection: 'Did you think I would not take the right of My servant?' Then (good deeds) will be taken from his good deeds and given to the creditor. If he has no good deeds, then (sins) from the creditor's sins will be placed upon him."
