Salamah ibn Sa'd narrated that he and a group from his household and children went as a delegation to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). They sought permission to enter and entered. He said: "Who are these?" It was said: "This is the delegation of 'Anazah." He said: "Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! What a fine clan 'Anazah is — oppressed yet victorious! Welcome to the people of Shu'ayb and the in-laws of Musa! Ask, O Salamah, about your need." He said: "I came to ask you about what you have made obligatory upon me regarding camels, sheep, and goats." He informed him. Then he sat near him for a while, then asked permission to depart. He said: "Depart." No sooner had he stood than the Prophet said: "O Allah, provide 'Anazah with sufficiency — neither meager sustenance nor excess."
