وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: جاء رجل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: يا رسول الله أرأيت إن جاء رجل يريد أخذ مالي؟ قال: "فلا تعطه مالك" قال: أرأيت إن قاتلني؟ قال: "قاتله" قال: أرأيت إن قتلني قال: "فأنت شهيد" قال: أرأيت إن قتلته؟ قال: "هو في النار" ((رواه مسلم)).
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that a man came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and asked, "O Beloved Messenger of Allah! What shall I do if someone comes to me with the intention of taking away my property?" He replied, "Do not hand over it to him." The man asked, "What shall I do if he fights me?" The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Then fight him." "What will be my position in the Hereafter if he has killed me?" The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) responded, "In that case you are a martyr." The man asked: "What if I killed him?" The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) responded, "He will be in the Hell- fire.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اگر کوئی شخص میرا مال لینے آئے تو؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اسے اپنا مال مت دو۔ عرض کیا: اگر وہ مجھ سے لڑے؟ ارشاد فرمایا: تم بھی اس سے لڑو۔ عرض کیا: اگر وہ مجھے مار ڈالے؟ ارشاد فرمایا: تو تم شہید ہو۔ عرض کیا: اگر میں اسے مار ڈالوں؟ ارشاد فرمایا: وہ جہنم میں ہے۔ (رواہ مسلم)
