وعن أبي مسعود رضي الله عنه قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يمسح مناكبنا في الصلاة، ويقول: "استووا ولا تختلفوا فتختلف قلوبكم، ليلني منكم أولو الأحلام والنهى، ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم". ((رواه مسلم)).
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to gently pat our shoulders when we were standing in rows at the time of Salat and say, "Keep (the rows) straight; do not differ from each other lest your hearts should suffer from discord. Let those of you who are mature and prudent be nearer to me, and then those who are next to them.".
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابومسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نماز میں ہمارے کندھوں کو برابر کرتے اور ارشاد فرماتے: 'سیدھے ہو جاؤ، آگے پیچھے نہ ہو ورنہ تمہارے دل مختلف ہو جائیں گے۔ میرے قریب عقل مند اور سمجھ دار لوگ کھڑے ہوں، پھر ان کے بعد والے، پھر ان کے بعد والے۔'
