انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent an army toward Awtas on the day of Hunayn. They met the enemy, fought them, prevailed over them, and captured their women. Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) considered it objectionable to have relations with them because their idolater husbands were present. So Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: "And (also forbidden are) married women, except those whom your right hands possess" (al-Nisa': 24) — meaning that when their waiting period ('iddah) has passed, they are lawful for you. اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے حنین کے دن ایک لشکر اوطاس کی طرف روانہ کیا۔ ان کا دشمن سے مقابلہ ہوا تو وہ ان سے لڑے اور ان پر غالب آ گئے اور ان کی عورتیں قید کر لائے۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے بعض صحابہ نے ان سے صحبت کرنے کو اس وجہ سے برا جانا کہ ان کے شوہر مشرکین موجود تھے۔ پس اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت اتاری کہ”حرام ہیں شوہروں والیاں مگر جو تمہاری ملک میں آگئیں“(النساء: 24) یعنی جب ان کی عدت گزر جائے تو وہ تمہارے لئے حلال ہیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 837]
