انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "A widow is not to be married until her permission is sought, and a virgin is not to be married until her permission is sought." The people said, "O Messenger of Allah! How is (a virgin's) permission to be sought?" He (peace be upon him) said, "Her consent is that she remain silent."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: بیوہ کا نکاح نہ ہو جب تک اس سے اجازت نہ لی جائے اور باکرہ کا بھی نکاح نہ ہو جب تک اس سے اجازت نہ لی جائے۔ لوگوں نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! (باکرہ سے) اجازت کیسے لی جائے؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اس کا اذن یہ ہے کہ چپ رہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 802]
