Narrated the Mother of the Believers Aishah the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood up to pray wearing a garment with figured designs on it, and he (peace be upon him) kept looking at its markings. When he had finished the prayer, he said, "Take this garment to Abu Jahm bin Hudhaifah and bring me his garment (which was without figured designs), for this garment just now distracted me during the prayer."

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمایک نقش و نگار والی چادر اوڑھ کر نماز پڑھنے کے لئے کھڑے ہوئے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماس کے نشانوں کی طرف دیکھنے لگے۔ جب نماز پڑھ چکے تو فرمایا کہ اس چادر کو ابوجہم بن حذیفہ کے پاس لے جاؤ اور ان کی چادر (جو کہ بغیر نقش و نگار کے تھی) مجھے لا دو کیونکہ اس چادر نے مجھے ابھی نماز میں غافل کر دیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 232]
