Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Indeed, when Allah, the Exalted, loves a servant, He calls Gabriel (peace be upon him) and says, 'I love so-and-so, so love him too.' Then Gabriel (peace be upon him) loves him and proclaims in the heavens, 'Allah loves so-and-so, so love him too.' Then the inhabitants of the heavens (the angels) love him. After that, acceptance is placed for him in the hearts of the people of the earth. And when Allah, the Exalted, is displeased with a person, He calls Gabriel (peace be upon him) and says, 'I hate so-and-so, so hate him too.' Then he too hates him. Then they proclaim among the inhabitants of the heavens, 'Allah, the Exalted, hates so-and-so, so hate him too,' and they too hate him. After that, enmity toward him is established among the people of the earth (that is, the righteous servants of Allah and the angels on earth also remain his enemies)."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ جب کسی بندے سے محبت کرتا ہے تو جبرائیل علیہ السلام کو بلا کر فرماتا ہے کہ میں فلاں بندے سے محبت کرتا ہوں، پس تو بھی اس سے محبت کر۔ پھر جبرائیل علیہ السلام اس سے محبت کرتے ہیں اور آسمان میں منادی کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فلاں سے محبت کرتا ہے، پس تم بھی اس سے محبت کرو۔ پھر آسمان والے فرشتے اس سے محبت کرتے ہیں۔ اس کے بعد زمین والوں کے دلوں میں وہ مقبول کر دیا جاتا ہے۔ اور جب اللہ تعالیٰ کسی آدمی سے ناراض ہوتا ہے تو جبرائیل علیہ السلام کو بلا کر فرماتا ہے کہ میں فلاں سے بغض رکھتا ہوں پس تم بھی اس سے بغض رکھو، پھر وہ بھی اس سے بغض رکھتے ہیں۔ پھر آسمان والوں میں منادی کر دیتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فلاں شخص سے بغض رکھتا ہے تم بھی اس سے بغض رکھو وہ بھی اس سے بغض رکھتے ہیں اس کے بعد زمین والوں میں اس کی دشمنی جم جاتی ہے (یعنی زمین میں بھی اللہ کے جو نیک بندے یا فرشتے ہیں وہ اس کے دشمن رہتے ہیں)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1771]
