Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): He met the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on one of the streets of Medina while he (Abu Hurayrah) was in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), so he slipped away, went and bathed. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) missed him, and when he came, he asked: "Where were you?" He said: "O Messenger of Allah! When you met me I was in a state of major ritual impurity, and I disliked sitting with you without having bathed." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "SubhanAllah! Does a believer ever become impure?"
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہوہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو مدینہ کے ایک راستے میں ملے اور وہ جنبی تھے، تو کھسک گئے اور جا کر غسل کیا۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انہیں گم پایا، جب وہ آئے تو پوچھا کہ کہاں تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! جس وقت آپ مجھ سے ملے میں جنبی تھا، میں نے غسل کئے بغیر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس بیٹھنا ناپسند کیا۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا سبحان اللہ! مومن کہیں نجس ہوتا ہے؟[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 168]
